The Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive:
Coming Soon To WCMU And To A Neighborhood Near You!

Fred Rogers, longtime host and producer of "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood," once said, "All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we're giving or receiving a sweater, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world. That's one of the things that connects us as neighbors-in our own way,
everyone is a giver and a receiver."

Once again, WCMU is bringing you the opportunity to make a difference in the life of someone else through our 2nd annual Mister Rogers' Neighborhood Sweater Drive!

WCMU is partnering with organizations all over our coverage area (and in a neighborhood near you!) to collect new or gently-worn sweaters. Receptacles to collect the sweaters will be distributed at various businesses throughout Central and Northern Michigan.

This year's Sweater Drive will kick off October 24-26 with a visit from Mr. McFeely, the popular "Speedy Delivery" postman from "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood."
