Alone In The Wilderness
To live in a pristine land unchanged by man, to roam a wilderness through which few other humans have passed, to choose an idyllic site, cut trees and build a log cabin: thousands have had such a dream, but Richard Proenneke lived it. He found a place, built a cabin, and stayed to become part of the country. This is a simple account of the day-to-day explorations and activities he carried out alone, and the constant chain of nature's events that kept him company.

Heart Healthy Yoga: Yoga for the rest of us.
Peggy Cappy introduced the public to the notion that there is a gentle way of doing yoga that doesn't demand bending your body like a pretzel. Now she is back with Heart Healthy Yoga, addressing what's on the mind of many Americans: heart health.

In celebration of its blockbuster 25th anniversary year, Andrew Lloyd Webber and producer Cameron Mackintosh presented The Phantom of the Opera in a fully-staged, lavish production, set in the sumptuous Victorian splendor of London's Royal Albert Hall. Starring Ramin Karimloo as The Phantom, Sierra Boggess as his protege Christine Daae, and Hadley Fraser as Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny, the romantic trio is backed by a complete cast and orchestra of more than 200, as well as surprise special guest appearances.

Peter Paul and Mary Carry It On - A Musical Legacy

There once was a time, some years before the ascendance of rock and roll on Top 40 radio, when popular music veered sharply from the mainstream to sample American roots-music traditions. Inspired by the songs of Pete Seeger & The Weavers, this "folk" music, found its greatest expression during the early 1960's in the songs of an emerging Greenwich Village group known as Peter, Paul and Mary.

This “Big Band” retrospective features the songs that brought the country through WWII and kick-started the baby boom. The program mixes vintage live, rare and unreleased footage of bands and vocalists from the 1930s and 40s. Peter Marshall ("Hollywood Squares") hosts.

The Concert It was a time of record hops, cars with big fins, ponytails and beehives. The future was bright and the music on the radio and jukeboxes became the soundtrack for the rest of your life. Recorded at Caesars in Atlantic City, MALT SHOP MEMORIES brings together 12 of the greatest living legends from the late 50s and early 60s and their phenomenal music for one fantastic evening. Hosted by Frankie Avalon, Bobby Rydell and Fabian, who also perform their greatest hits, the special also includes archival performances from The Four Seasons, Martha and The Vandellas, The Beach Boys and Dion and The Belmonts.
