This spring, WCMU Public Media and the Michigan Learning Channel are hitting the road with a celebration built for curious minds and growing imaginations.

Read, Write, Grow! is a hands-on literacy experience designed for young learners and their families—bringing together books, creativity, and interactive activities that make learning feel like play.

And yes—Carl the Collector from PBS KIDS will be there, ready to meet families and snap some photos along the way.

What to Expect ... A free, hands-on experience where kids can pick out a book to keep, get creative with rock painting, plant seeds to take home, and relax in a cozy corner featuring episodes of Carl the Collector. Families can also meet Carl in person for photos and stop by the WCMU and Michigan Learning Channel table for fun giveaways, program info, and more!
