Women & Water: Woven Portraits From Around the World
Now through October 15th, the Petoskey District Library is showcasing artist Mary E Burns' exhibition 'Women & Water: Woven Portraits From Around the World.' The exhibition explores water and the women whose work helps sustain it.
Troy Graham at the Alpena Library
On Thursday, Michigan singer-songwriter Troy Graham performs at the Alpena Library, from 5:30-7pm. Graham draws inspiration from folk, bluegrass, indie rock, and more.
Minnehaha Brewhaha Festival
The Minnehaha Brewhaha Festival in Arcadia highlights local bands from northwest Michigan, Saturday from 2-10. The festival also features food trucks and a tasting sponsored by regional breweries.
Thunder Over Waters
Finally, on Sunday, downtown Waters is hosting the Thunder Over Waters festival, starting with a pancake breakfast at 8 and ending with fireworks at dusk.
