International Fireworks Championship
On Friday and Saturday, it's the third annual International Fireworks Championship in Traverse City. Teams from Canada, New Zealand, Poland, Romania, the UK, and the US will compete at Turtle Creek Stadium.

The Cadillac Book Fest is Saturday, from 10 to 4. Meet more than 50 authors at the Marketplace at Cadillac Commons.
Harrisville Train Depot - 125th Anniversary Celebration
Also Saturday from noon to 4 in Harrisville, a celebration of the 125th birthday of the Historic 1901 Harrisville Train Depot. There will be games, a mustache and old time clothes contest, music, food and refreshments.
