On select Fridays beginning September 25th, visitors to Whiting Forest at Dow Gardens can take a nighttime journey among prehistoric creatures in Giants Among the Trees. Tickets are required.
Fall Festival & Great Pumpkin Roll
On Saturday the 26th, St. Ignace is celebrating the start of autumn with the Fall Festival & Great Pumpkin Roll. The event features pumpkin carvings, balloon artists, face painting, and other activities.
Give Back & Grow Garden Volunteer Day
Also on Saturday, it's Give Back & Grow Garden Volunteer Day at the Saginaw Art Museum and Gardens, where volunteers can help weed, clean, prune, plant, and tackle other hands-on gardening tasks.
Super Why's Comic Book Adventures - Free Screening
Finally, WCMU hosts a free screening of Super Why's Comic Book Adventures at Celebration Cinema in Mount Pleasant on Saturday, featuring hands-on activities, free books, and more.
