Legislation to require a warning label on marijuana products in Michigan is on its way to the State House floor.

The House Judiciary committee approved two bills Tuesday that would place the label warning against consuming marijuana during pregnancy.

Representative Graham Filler is the Judiciary Committee chairman.

“Labeling can be complicated.  We want to make sure that all the I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed.”

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists discourages marijuana use during pregnancy due to concerns about an increased risk of underweight and premature infants.
