Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm to visit Michigan on Thursday

Former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm is returning to the state Thursday, Aug 5, in her first official return to Michigan as US Secretary of Energy. She’s scheduled to make several stops Thursday to promote domestic manufacturing and building a clean energy economy.

According to the Energy Department, Granholm’s visit will will highlight the need to secure American supply chains and call for new investments in electrification, including those proposed in the trillion dollar infrastructure bill currently pending in the Senate.
