Amy Robinson is WCMU’s newest Business and Community Development Specialist. Many listeners will recognize Amy from her years at WCMU, where she served as both a journalist and News Director. After relocating to the Lansing area to be closer to family, she was excited to return to WCMU with a focus on strengthening community partnerships and expanding the station’s reach throughout mid-Michigan and beyond.

Amy is a strong believer in the power of community and the unique connection WCMU fosters with its audiences. That connection translates into meaningful results for local organizations. NPR research shows that 76% of listeners prefer to support businesses that sponsor NPR programming, and WCMU Public Television enjoys similarly high levels of trust and engagement. Amy enjoys helping business and nonprofit leaders discover how sponsorship opportunities with WCMU can enhance their visibility, strengthen community relationships, and support their organizational goals.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with family, reading, and exploring local businesses, attractions, and events throughout the communities WCMU serves.
