Shannon French

Shannon French is the Director of Development, leading the team responsible for fundraising, membership, public media underwriting, grant management, and planned giving, including major gifts. She oversees the strategy and day-to-day operations that support all fundraising efforts, including management of the donor CRM system, securing federal and state grants, and building relationships with major donors and prospects.

Shannon and her team also ensure strong financial stewardship by supporting fund reconciliation processes and serving as a liaison to Central Michigan University accounting and advancement offices. Through this work, she helps strengthen philanthropic support for the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.

A lifelong resident of Mount Pleasant, Shannon is a Central Michigan University alumna and remains actively engaged in the community. She serves on two local boards supporting youth, with a focus on athletics and scholarship opportunities. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, socializing, attending sporting events, golfing, boating, downhill skiing, and going to summer concerts. She is married and the mother of two boys.
