Stefanie Mills is a multi-award winning journalist, producer and host for WCMU Public Media. Stefanie's early interest in broadcasting began as a child watching local news and later interning alongside the faces she grew up watching in the Detroit Television News Market.
She spent ten years working at 9&10 News in Cadillac, Michigan where she earned several awards from the, Associated Press, Michigan Association of Broadcasters and her first Michigan Emmy Award for best newscasts. In July of 2013, Stefanie joined the WCMU Public Media team. Over the years she has produced countless stories for "Destination Michigan" along with special documentaries including "Adapting to Adversity" a program focused on youth mental health challenges. In 2024, Stefanie helped with the creation of "Pressing Matters," a program focused on current events and issues facing people in Michigan.

In her spare time, Stefanie enjoys a good book, crafting and traveling with her family.
