After thunderstorms hit Michigan at the start of July, tens of thousands of households are without electricity.
Over 15,000 are still offline statewide according to poweroutage.us.
Great Lakes Energy posted on its Facebook page that it has "crews and contractors responding and working to restore power as safely and quickly as possible."
Their post said that they are seeing most of their outages in Kalkaska and Antrim counties.
Antrim County has more than1,5000 without power, while Kalkaska has just over 1,100 according to poweroutage.us.
Consumers Energy has dispatched almost 200 crews across the state to help restore power to their customers.
Consumers Energy's Matt Johnson says the northern lower was particularly impacted.
"It does appear that the majority of them are in northern Michigan, specifically in Grand Traverse and Alcona County," Johnson said.
He added that power would likely be restored to those customers later tonight.
