Renee Mahon is the Marketing Manager at WCMU Public Media, where she and her team help the station tell its own story across Central and Northern Michigan! Renee leads a dynamic team dedicated to connecting viewers and listeners with the programming they love. From creating creative promotional campaigns and driving brand awareness to overseeing the E-news, The Guide, social media, and the website, she ensures WCMU’s impact is felt everywhere. You’ll also find her out in the community hosting events that bring people together and spark real connection and conversation.

Renee brings an extensive marketing background to WCMU. Previously, she served as the Director of Marketing and Promotions at 9&10 News, and as a Senior Marketing Specialist for Whole Foods Market’s Midwest Region.

A proud Central Michigan University alumna (Fire Up Chips!), Renee lives in Cadillac with her husband, Sean, their two daughters, and a sassy Shih Tzu named Enzo. When she’s off the clock, Renee is all about making memories with family and friends. She enjoys relaxing at the family cottage in Caseville, tailgating at CMU, exploring Michigan's small towns, camping and checking out new restaurants!
